Discussion/Action
Meeting Minutes: Meeting minutes were approved.
Budget Update: Pobuda provided financial report and reported a current balance of $11,828.76. Reimbursement to Dan Jacobson for materials for work completed is pending.
Website: Coach reported that a meeting for all interested in Fall Baseball will be at Mustang Field, August 29th at 7:00pm. This information will be added to website.
Coach’s Update:
Participation Fee – There will be a fee of $150 per player ($275 family) this year. Participation for freshman team players will be $50.
Gate Fees – New this year, $5 per event. Discussed fund raising option and agreement that is not a good option and will leave it to school to administer.
2011-2012 Projects – Coach identified the following as priority projects; New Infield, Wind Screen, New fence along left field line, Hose reel, Golf cart, Scoreboard repairs
Field Maintenance Committee – Need volunteers to invest time into field maintenance in order to keep field in good condition.
Spirit Wear: Schneider reported that we will not do a holiday sale due to low participation.
Fundraisers: Discussion regarding adding Fall/Winter fund raiser. Discussed Penn Station and/or Jaspare’s dine out night, Peeler Cards (i.e. Subway), Major sponsor for Scoreboard, Individual Sponsorships (name placard on side of concession stand recognition).
Officer Nominations/Elections: Board discussed, nominated and appointed the following officers for 2011-12 year;

Treasurer – Don Pobuda (Sr.)

Project Leaders: Discussion regarding need for Booster Board members to take lead roles in various project areas. The following projects and leaders are some suggestions after Board discussion. This subject will be addressed at next meeting with new members to secure assignments;
